Good going Paige! : )

Jermaine's Grass Head Man

This is Jermain's grass head man, we all made one similar to Jermaine's.
We made them out of these items:
  • an old sock,
  • 2 buttons,
  • a yogurt container,
  • grass seed of course,
  • dirt and sawdust  and some pipe cleaner (optional).
We cut out the instructions and stuck them in our books in the correct order.

We have been learning to write instructions, these are our writing goals.

Instruction Goals

  • We need to title our instructions.
  • We need to show what you need.
  • We must put them in the correct order .
  • We need to write clear instructions.
  • We must make them simplified so that someone who is quite young could under stand.

Rugby World Cup
This is the field that Jack could see where he was sitting.

Jack's Dad drove down to Dunedin to watch the England VG Georgia game at the flash new stadium.

Today we organised groups for the bunkrooms, the children were quick and inclusive as they picked their own bunkroom buddies.

GEAR
Next week we will send the gear list home, as you collect up gear for camp remember that it all gear needs to be named and that clothing needs to be warm and comfortable, not fashionable.
We require some addition sleeping bag to issue to children who do not have access to one, please send any spares along to school. They will be returned after camp.

COMMUNICATIONS
As we have lots of parent helpers on camp we have given each parent a short contact list, should we need to contact you urgently we will text or phone . Should you wish to contact us on camp we ask that your contacts are through the school.
